Is Having Liposuction a good way to get rid of Cellulite?

August 5, 2014

Cellulite and liposuction are closely related to each other. In fact, both go hand-in-hand since liposuction was considered to be one of the most largely adopted ways to reduce the cellulite problem from anywhere in the body. The most favorable thing in liposuction was that that this procedure only targets the affected areas in the body and does not affect any other structure or systems of the body and hence, the complications for any other body systems are very less likely to occur.

Liposuction is a technique that extracts the fats by vacuuming it from just under the skin. However, there are many cases where liposuction may change the texture and appearance of the skin that could be worse than before. Liponic sculpturing, on other hand, is becoming more popular that uses the machine with various types of rollers and vibrators that run over the body reducing the local fatty layers and cells.

Liposuction requires general anesthesia since it is quite a lengthy and expensive procedure. Liposuction is to be performed only by experts’ hands since the operating procedure is little bit complicated and if the patient is suffering from any other diseases, liposuction becomes risky as after the surgery, healing the incision or wound may involve complications.

Despite of all the controversies, liposuction has remained popular among all the people who suffer from cellulite conditions because of its long-lasting and often dramatic results. Nevertheless, after liposuction surgery, the skin may appear loose as the fat has been burnt or removed. The skin has natural tendency to have elasticity but the fat has accumulated since long and therefore, skin might have lost elasticity that does not allow the skin to look fresh after the larger portion (fats) have been removed or burnt during any procedure including the liposuction.

This is because liposuction is effective in curing the fats that is deeply seated and in the case of cellulite, the fatty layers often get seated just beneath the skin rather than getting deep into muscles and tendons.

There are many other medical procedures that are often combined with liposuction helping to reduce cellulite. Along with the removal of cellulite and liposuction, a latest technique may help eliminate the problems that are at larger areas of the body. FDA has approved the latest technology called Endermologie and is now available across the United States. The procedure includes a device with motor that has two adjustable rollers and a controlled suction pump that creates a symmetrical skin-fold.

Though you have undergone liposuction for your cellulite reduction, after the surgery, you have to follow certain regimens and have to consume some pills as directed by a surgeon. Dietary restriction, lifestyle modifications and other physical activities such as exercises, hot-packs and brisk walking may help you to maintain the frame of the body and also help preventing chronic disease such as hypertension and heart diseases.
